OBJECTIVES

Our Programs

  • Royal Academy After-School Program

The Royal Academy nurtures youth through mentoring, creative arts, and STEAM education, providing a safe space for students to express themselves, build confidence, and strengthen life skills. Through hands-on learning and artistic exploration, we encourage emotional development and inspire career curiosity—especially in science and technology fields.

Students also participate in service-based community projects such as beautifying local spaces and assisting food banks, fostering responsibility and pride in their community.

    Locations:

    Ora Lee West Community Center

    Hudson Dockett Community Center

    Hours (Monday - Thursday):

    Elementary | 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM

    Teens | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Every child has a story to write—at Royal Academy, we help them write it with purpose.

  • IAR Liturgical Dance

I Am Royal Liturgical Dance is part of Segment 1: Healing Expressions, using creative arts to teach coping skills and healthy emotional expression. Our program empowers youth to express themselves through dance without lowering behavioral standards, fostering self-confidence, discipline, and respect for the performing arts.

Participants explore contemporary and lyrical dance, developing poise, alignment, and technique, while building a strong foundation as dancers. More than a program, IAR Dance provides a home away from home for young ladies to grow, express, and shine.

Through movement, we teach more than dance—we teach resilience, confidence, and the power of self-expression.

  • P.R.E.T.T.I. GIRLS

P.R.E.T.T.I. Girls is part of Segment II: Royal Confidence, a mentorship program designed to help young women care for themselves through etiquette, grooming, and self-care practices. The program fosters self-confidence, self-awareness, and self-respect while providing a safe and supportive space for growth.

Created for young women ages 8 and up, the Little Women’s Society offers guidance on menstrual health, women’s history, etiquette, financial literacy, character building, and female empowerment. Mentors help participants understand that they are more than P.R.E.T.T.I.—Positive, Respectful, Elevating, Teachable, Tenacious, and Intellectual women who articulate and attract.

    Meeting Times & Locations:

Mondays | 5:30 – 6:30 PM at Ora Lee West Community Center

Wednesdays | 5:30 – 6:30 PM at Hudson Dockett Community Center

P.R.E.T.T.I. Girls equips young women with the tools to grow, thrive, and shine with confidence.
